120/365 Family Day At High Park

Yesterday was Family Day here in Canada, and we decided to take advantage of the nice weather and head to High Park for the afternoon.  A lot of other people seemed to have the same idea, but Gabrielle didn't mind the crowd at all.

Despite the crowd, she still managed to find plenty of equipment to play on.  A visit to a cafe for chocolate milk afterward, and later dinner at Gran's house made it the perfect day for this little munchkin.

118/365 Lunch With Kyle

Gabrielle had a surprise visit from her best buddy Kyle yesterday.  She doesn't see him that often, but she still loves him to pieces.  She had great time showing him all her toys (sometimes reclaiming them if he kept them for too long), as she took his little hand to lead him from room to room.  After some serious playing they shared some tasty egg and cheese sandwiches in the living room, made from the farm-fresh eggs that we took home from my cousin's chicken farm on Wednesday.  In true Gabrielle fashion, she would only eat hers as along as she could use a fork.  Kyle was a little less discriminate.

117/365 Working Out The Kinks

There have been plenty of technological changes around here lately, resulting in quite a few little kinks to be worked out.  First if all, we've finally exchanged our old Dell laptop for a Mac desktop.  I also finally bit the bullet and bought Lightroom 3.  I'm not very familiar with either my new computer or editing software, but I'm sure that will come with time.  This is my first post using both, commemorating my determination to become more competent in both departments.

In other news, Gabrielle had quite the day today.  This afternoon we took a drive with Oma to visit a cousin's brand new baby boy, and got to witness some of his brand new smiles.  We were all in love.

Gabrielle also had the chance to get reacquainted with some cousins she hasn't seen in a while.  There were lots of hugs this afternoon, and Gabrielle had a blast.
