124/365 Thunder Bay Playgrounds

Gabrielle and I just got home from a very refreshing trip to Thunder Bay to visit Gabrielle's grandparents. We both had a great time on our trip, but I think one of the highlights for Gabrielle was definitely all the time she got to spend at the park with Oma.

123/365 The Elmo Cake

Gabrielle insisted on an Elmo cake for her second birthday.  I tried to talk her into something that I thought would be easier to decorate (since I'm not exactly a cake decorating expert), but no, she insisted on Elmo.  I'll admit that the decorating itself took me at least 3 hours, but the smile on her face when she saw her cake was well worth it.

122/365 First Wedding

Garbrielle attended a wedding for the first time this weekend.  She spent most of the reception running at full tilt across the dance floor, but luckily this wedding was particularly child friendly and no one seemed to mind.  I was able to catch her for a few minutes in-between sprints for a few pictures with her grandparents.
